Round three of the WSMTB Cross Country series saw a double change of venue. Initially it was to be run at the Acadia track but due to weather and a few unknown circumstances it was moved to the St Ives short track which proved to be a great venue once again. With a drop in riders, probably due to the late move of the venue, it did create some really close racing and most of all some great spectating opportunities.
The course was only 2.5km long, however it did test all riders with some really technical tight turns that did take it's toll on a couple of riders.
